THAP continues its key partnership with The Mater Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya to perform surgeries and medical treatments for THAP at a much reduced fee. The CEO of The Mater Hospital and Peter Mbogo Kamau, THAP's Chairman, are working together to assist the families of more children on THAP's waiting list through a continuing arrangement at Mater Hospital to perform surgeries at a cost of $1500 - $2000 US dollars.

Medical mission teams from the U.K., U.S., and other countries enable THAP to assist far more children every year. In addition, the focus of these missions is not only to provide care for these children but also to provide education and training to medical personnel at Mater Hospital and other hospitals in Kenya. Resources and materials are brought by the various teams to support the abilities of the Kenyan hospitals to care for these patients.
